Instruction:
Based on your total calories per day, creates one menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Your menu must
not exceed total calories per day and must follow the food pyramid. The portion of one serving is
also based on ¼ carbohydrate, ¼ protein and ½ fibre. (quarter, quarter and half).

3. What materials need to be submitted?
 1 Menu (refer to the examples attached below)
 1 self-recorded video preparing the food (length of the video:2 to 3 minutes)

 Why your food is healthier. You may  Sequence connectors (first, secondly,
state the nutrients content in the food. then, etc)

 Is it suitable for active life style? But, Or, Yet, So)
 Does it follow the food pyramid?  Imperatives (e.g: Preheat the oven, Bake
 Does it contain all classes of food? until the cheese melts). You can also refer
to the sample provided below.

Ingredients:
1. ¼ cup Kraft Mozzarella finely shredded (42 calories)
2. 1 teaspoon of Olive oil (40 calories)
3. 2 fresh peeled eggplants (30 calories).
4. 1 cup of spaghetti sauce/tomato sauce (9 calories).
5. Black pepper for seasoning
6. A pinch of salt (1 calories)
Total calories:
42 + 40 + 30 + 9 + 1 = 122 cal
122 calories x 4.2 kilojoule = 512.4 kJ
TIPS:

Jazz up the flavour by adding some basil leaves to the


mix.

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 180 °C.


2. Brush both sides of the eggplant with the oil and
season with the salt and pepper.
3. Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake until
browned and almost tender about 6 to 8 minutes,
turning once.
4. Spread 1 tablespoon of pasta sauce on each eggplant
slice.
5. Then, top with the shredded cheese.
6. Bake until the cheese melts, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve hot.
