NAVY

Armed Forces of the Philippines is responsible for

upholding the sovereignty of the country, defending its territory
against all enemies and protecting the people against terrorism.
Navy is one of the most important part of the Armed Forces of
the Philippines. Its function is to train, equip, maintain and
operate naval forces and naval aircraft including naval reserve
units, necessary to provide water borne support and assistance
required by the Armed Forces of the Philippines in the
accomplishment of its mission. It shares the responsibility of
patrolling maritime borders with the Philippine Cost Guard. The
Philippine Navy has over 25,000 active personel, over 15,000
Reserve personel, 114 ships and 25 aircraft. That is the strength
of Philippine Navy.
To become one of the Navy personel, first is you should
know how to discipline yourself just like interring Criminology,
discipline is one of the most important thing that you should
have to known in order to become a good leader and a good
follower. Self discipline is very important especially in showing
respect to the senior officers, in the form of addressing them
with their tittles or position, and also wearing of proper uniform
is very important. Wearing of proper uniform is how we show
respect to our university, instructors, and also to our senior
officers that gives sacrifices just to train and teach us how to
become a good leader and a good follower. Just like in Navy,
discipline is very important.
Discipline is created within unit by installing a sense of
confidence and responsibility in each individual. To strength
discipline, senior leader need to give praise to their subordinates,
either individually or as a whole for tasks done well. By doing
this, it will accomplish every commanders goal of having a unit
that functions well and builds a bond which binds together the
team. And also that is one of the reason why there are lots of
civilians in the Philippines who wants to join the Armed Forces
of the Philippines. According to Jim Rohn, "Discipline is the
Bridge Between Goals and Accomplishment." In order to
achieve your passion and to become successful in life, self
discipline is very important. It leads you to a right way or path
which you need to follow just to achieve your goal in life, just to
become a good law enforcer and a good servant of our country.
Discipline is something that keeps each person in control. It
motivates a person to progress in life and achieve success.
Everyone follow discipline in his or her life in different form.
Besides, everyone has his own prospect of discipline. Applying
self discipline is very important especially if you are servant of
the country. A person who has discipline is more fucosed and
keep up work on time in the regular day of activity and also
disciplined person earns more respect in the society as compared
to his or her counterparts. At the start, one may find it difficult
to lead a disciplined life. But once you are through, you tend to
become a role model for other to follow. Without discipline, it is
not possible to carry on a meaningful life. It is demonstration of
living with a few standards and direction. Discipline drives us
towards the correct way of doing things.
To become one of Criminology student of Negros Oriental
State University is one of the most important thing that
happened in my life. In Criminology, discipline and brotherhood
is very important. Mistake of one student gives stress and
pressure to everybody. Some of us are afraid to be punished.
Being a Criminology student, you should have to think wisely of
what is the goodness for everybody even if it is not good for
yourself as long as you save your teammates from exercises, you
should have to sacrifice and that is what I have learned in
Negros Oriental State University. I recommend this paper to
those persons who wants to become part of Philippine law
enforcer and servant of the Philippines. We should have to study
hard, sacrifice and think about the goodness of our community
and peaceful of our country.
