I. Rationale:

The commitment of Saint Columban’s College is to help students to flourish and to persist until they reach their educational goals. are on academic and/or
progress probation or facing dismissal.
Hence, counseling services monitors the progress of all students and provides follow-up services for those who are undecided about their course of study (major) and
It is a well-known fact that the students are experiencing difficulties because of this pandemic, that’s why the Guidance Orientation Service will help to enable
them to know the school’s courses, rules, regulations, different facilities given to the students by school and to know the clear image of the school. On the same line we
can easily identify the students concerns like their Failing grades/school problems, Interpersonal relationships, Habitual Absenteeism/tardiness, and Personal/family
problems.

School counseling services at Saint Columban’s College are an integral part of the educational program. Designates/Counselors strive to work closely with
students, parents, faculty, administrators and community professionals to provide a positive atmosphere that contributes significantly to the personal and educational
development of students.

II. Goals and Objectives:

1. To help students in discovering and accepting their abilities, personality, interests, aptitudes, and spiritual values necessary in forming realistic life goal.
2. To assist the students in identifying their specific learning difficulties and learn to overcome these in order to acquire new behavior that will facilitate learning.
