Directions: Take a look at the ball pen you
are using right now. How would you
describe it? What does it remind you? Write
an essay employing the language in creative
writing. Make it appealing to the senses by
using all possible imagery that you can use.
Likewise, make it figurative by using all
possible figures of speech that you can think
of. Use informal diction in your essay.
Learners will be asked the following
questions:

deeply with a character’s experience in a
story. What made it resonate with you?
