would like to thanks the E.S.T.M family/students for the
support and time spent on answering the questionnaire
given, also I want to thanks my family especially my mom
for always being with me and helping me with what she can.

Finally special thanks goes to my Social-Studies teacher who

Statement Of Problem

How does pollution affect students in their daily lives at

E.S.T.M ?
Reason Of Research

The reason for selecting this topic is because pollution has

become one of the major causes why our environment is
getting destroyed and animal species getting extinct. Overall
pollution is destroying earth’s as a hole including plants,
animals , humans, water and our basic need for humans the
oxygen.
Method of Investigation

In order to collect data from the survey, I have decided to

use printed questionnaires.

The questionnaire as an eqiupment for collecting data has a

number of advantages.

1. It requires minimum time to answer

2. It can be done as the person perspective way of thinking
3. Highly appreciate if you answer with honesty since the
responds will not be required to put their names
Procedures for data collection

E.S.T.M has a large population of approximately 765

students. Therefore, I decided to randomly distribute
the questionnaires to twelve respondents among
different homerooms. I decided to distribute three
questionnaires to each class. The data collection
instrument was distributed during break, and
homeroom session, and collected at the end of the
day. There was one limitation in the process. Some of
the questionnaires were returned incomplete, in
which the open-ended questions were not completed.
Nevertheless, I managed to receive very vital
information.
