A. Brief Company

Tri Gym Jember is one of the gym, fitness, and zumba aerobics companies
that has been established by Tri Yanto since 2010 in Jember Regency. However, since
2015 until now Tri Gym is owned and under the control of Teguh Budoyo. At first Tri
Gym was just a small gym specifically for women, but over time Tri Gym continues
to grow and become one of the largest gyms in Jember City. Nowadays, this gym can
be entered by women and men, the majority of which are students. This is because the
location of Tri Gym is strategic and very close to the University of Jember campus.
"Tri Gym has a vision and mission that is to socialize sports and cultivate the
community." Said Kusmo Hartoyo as the current manager of Tri Gym. The complete
address of Tri Gym Jember is at Street Kalimantan Number 57, East Krajan,
Sumbersari, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency, East Java 68121. Tri Gym Jember
is right next to Pujasera Kalimantan, Jember.

Here can do various types of sports and fitness such as weight lifting, body
building, power lifting, endurance training, indor jogging equipment, and others. Tri
gym provides various types of workout equipment that can be used either to lose
weight or form a body so that it is proportional, ideal, and ideal weight. Fitness
equipment and gym are available such as pull-up bar, barbell, push-up bar, dumbell,
weighted bar, kettlebells, treadmill (gym indoor running equipment), upright bike
(gym bike tool), lat pull down, chest press and others.

For those who are interested can register as a member gym or become a
membership with a fee or an affordable price and in accordance with the pockets of
students. For students the price of members per month is Rp85.000,00 while for the
public Rp95.000,00. As for per come pay Rp15.000,00 per person. There is an option
to be helped by professional trainers, so that the sport will be more efficient and
directed. For zumba per come the price is Rp15.000,00, while the package pays
Rp100.000,00 for eight meetings.
B. Application of Layout Strategy

Tri Gym is located on the main highway in Jember City, namely Jalan
Kalimantan. Which is a very strategic location and easy for people to reach. Besides
being close to the Jember University campus, Tri Gym is also close to the Bursa
Mahasiswa, Pujasera Kalimantan, DPR office, shopping center, quite close to jember
state polytechnic, and others.

Because of its location close to the campus, almost 80% of Tri Gym members
are students. Therefore, Tri Gym took the decision to provide an affordable entrance
price that fits the student's pocket. In addition, the most interesting thing about Tri
Gym is that it creates a separate space between the women's and men's fitness rooms.
So, in Tri Gym there are four spacious rooms that are all separate. The front room is a
special parking lot for two-wheeled vehicles which is quite spacious, enters the gate
of the large Tri Gym, and is closed so as not to worry if it rains, and of course it is
safe. There is also the father of the parking attendant, so as to minimize the risk of
theft of vehicles and so on that is not desirable to occur.
 However, the parking lot is a ceramic floor which is of course slippery, so
visitors should be more careful not to slip. Especially when it's raining. Another
drawback, in Tri Gym can not accommodate four-wheeled vehicles, so visitors who
come can only use two-wheeled vehicles. In addition, the motorcycle when going into
the parking lot must climb through the top of a small iron box located at the top of the
stairs. It is quite dangerous and there is a chance of accidents if the rider is not extra
careful.

Further inside, there is a registration and payment desk. There awaited by the
current manager of Tri Gym, Mr. Kusmo Hartoyo. The laying of the table I think is
quite correct, because it is right after the parking lot and before entering the gym
room.

After making the payment, visitors can enter for either zumba or fitness sports.
Going deeper on the first floor, there is a spacious mixed gym room. There men and
women can exercise in the room. In the room is equipped with a closet storage bags or
luggage visitors, and there is also one small bathroom.
 Going up to the second floor to the east, there is a gym room specifically for women.
Men are strictly forbidden to board or enter this room. This is the attraction of Tri Gym.
There is a fitness room for women. Whereas most gyms, do not provide the same thing. Men
and women mix. So, Tri Gym provides comfort for women who want to exercise without fear
or embarrassment seen by men.
 The gym is surrounded by large glass on every corner of the wall, making visitors
more eager to exercise. Lighting can be said to be good, there are many adequate lights so
that it is bright, plus the reflecting of light from each mirror and walls painted in white makes
the room brighter. Here there is also a luggage storage cupboard or belongings of visitors,
two bathrooms or a small dressing room, provided with free gallons of water, there is a music
sound that can be arranged by visitors themselves so as to make the sport more exciting and
vibrant. The enclosed space makes the privacy of female visitors maintained and safe,
unfortunately the phenylation of air and the lack of fan numbers make the air circulation of
the room feel hot, sultry, and stuffy. In addition, the room is less clean, less organized, and
the design of the room is too ordinary and monotonous to make visitors often easily feel
bored. The bottom of the room in the form of ceramic flooring I think is less supportive of
this sports venue, should be made of wood or provided carpets or mattresses so that it is not
slippery and does not interfere when the sport takes place.
 For the placement of fitness equipment I think is appropriate, the tools are grouped
according to their own kind, and each tool is given a distance that is not too close together so
as to make the wearer feel comfortable. In Tri Gym there are also some pictures or posters of
motivational words on the wall as decorators as well as uploaders so as to make sportsmen
more motivated. Another drawback, in this gym there is no fragrance or fragrance.

Then, for the second floor to the west or front is the zumba room or aerobics gymnastics.
 Separate rooms like this are great. Each visitor can focus on their own sport and more
easily reach the target. The layout type of Tri Gym Company is a type of layout with a fixed
position. Because, the gym equipment remains in one place, and it is the user who switches
places to fit the tools if they want to use them.
