CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background
Communication is a basic human activity. By communicating humans can
relate to each other both in everyday life day at home, at work, in society or
anywhere humans exist. There is no human being who is not involved in
communication. Communication has a very important role in human life, either
individually, in groups or in organizations. In communication we also often say
thank you when we get help, both small assistance and big help. And when we
provide assistance to others, that's all we will receive thanks. And for the reply to
the gratitude it will be different if the person we help is the closest person to
someone who is not close, only business partners or this is the first time we
meet. For example, the person we help is someone close, we will say don't
mention it. It's different if the people we help are limited to business partners or
we've just met, we will answer you're very welcome.
And communication is of course not limited to that. There are times when we
meet new people we will build a conversation that makes him comfortable,
starting by asking about the weather and of course asking things he will do in the
future. Here the word "will" will be used as the beginning of the sentence if we
ask something that the person needs in the future. And when we expect the
same from that person, we can also use the word will. For example i hope i will.
And after the conversation is over, we have to say the word goodbye with a good
impression, then we can use the sentence see you later with the sentence
goodbye.
