i) Surface Preparation:
 The mix is to be laid on the prepared surface as mentioned earlier that are well
protected at the edges using proper shuttering.
 Leveling of the surface is to be done using wooden float when the concrete is still
green enough to just make a thumb impression on it without adhering.

ii) Placing & Finishing of Concrete:

 The non-metallic hardener of approved vendor is to be scattered in two phrases as
mentioned in specification.
 The first layer is to be taken as 50 to 70% of the pre decided quantity per square
meter, leave for some time so that it soaks the moisture from the base concrete and
then should be float finished to make the surface smooth.
 Immediately the rest quantity is to be scattered evenly and wait to soak the moisture
and float finish to make the surface smooth.
 Immediate curing is to be started as soon as the surface attains its setting using
Hessen cloth or immersing the whole surface under water.

7) EHS

 Proper sign boards indicating, running work, diversion etc. is to be used indicated
with proper signs, symbols and language known by the majority.
 Proper barricading of work area is to be done.
 All the labours and worker should use their Safety PPE’S such as safety shoe, nose
mask, safety helmet, gloves, goggles etc.
