 IGBC -STUDENT DESIGN COMPETION

"JOIN US TO DESIGN A DREAM HOUSE THAT RESPONDS TO PANDEMIC SITUATION"

This current global situation has forced all of us to slowdown, with a lot of time on our hands,
hence making it the apt time to introduce the IGBC DESIGN COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS

1. Stemming from the current pandemic situation, the aim is to design your dream house which
focuses on;
- health security
- self sufficiency
- happy living.
2. The house should be designed for one of the following;
- bachelor
- young couple
- big family
- senior citizens.
3. The plot dimension (approximately 5000 sq.ft) select site as per your choice.
4. The design of the house should look at efficient construction methods and materiality.
5. The design should follow Building Authority rules and regulations as per your city.
6. The design submitted, should be an original design developed by the author, plagiarism /
resemblance to any other work may lead to disqualification.

- The deadline for the design submission is 20 /05/ 2020 before 23.59 pm

Deliverables:
- You are required to digitally submit up to 2 A2 sized panels (landscape), the template for which
has been provided. The panels should include all information that best describes your design.
- A 2 page write up defining the parameters and program of your design.size not more than 10 mb
Copyright:
-The author(s) of any design shall retain copyright of his/her work, no alteration shall be made
without his/her consent however he/she shall allow organizer to publish the submitted design in
any publication platform as deemed fit.
Disqualification:
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any submissions due to non compliance to the
organiser’s requirements.

OUTCOME:

- THE DESIGNS SUBMITTED WILL BE ASSESSED

BY JURY.
-THE SHORTLISTED / SELECTED DESIGNS WILL
BE PUBLISHED AND HIGHLIGHTED ON IGBC
PLATFORMS.
-ALL PARTICIPANTS SHALL BE GIVEN DIGITAL
CERTIFICATES BY "IGBC INDORE CHAPTER"
