SUBJECT : Spot Report on Robbery with Homicide

DATE : November 21, 2019

1. Please be informed that at about 3:30 PM on November 21, 2019, a Robbery

with Homicide transpired at Purok 100, Minante 500, Cauayan City, Isabela wherein
victim Juan Nabalo y DelaCruz, 21 years old, married, businessman, and a resident of
said place was stabbed by suspects identified as Sylvestre Bruno y Igado, 50 years old,
single, driver and a resident of Mintin, Maddela, Quirino Province and Akilo Apolonoryo,
Jr. y Gunda, 39 years old, single, carpenter and resident of Barangay Poblacion, Alicia,
Isabela. As a consequence, thereof, the victim sustained stab wound on the right side
upper abdomen and was rushed by concern citizen and responding police officers to
Cauayan District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending
physician, Dr. Juan Paskal.

2. Investigation disclosed that while the victim and his wife were having a
conversation at their living room while counting cash money gained from their business,
two unidentified male persons armed with knives suddenly opened their door and
entered therein. Thereafter, one of the suspects pointed his knife to the victim and took
his necklace and money then stabbed him on his upper right abdomen, while the other
suspect held the victim’s wife pointing a knife on her. The suspects were immediately
arrested at the place of incident by the responding elements of Cauayan City Police
Station. Recovered pieces of evidence at the crime scene were one (1) folded knife
(balisong) with blood stain and one (1) kitchen knife while confiscated items from the
control and possession of the suspects were one (1) necklace and a cash money
amounting to Three Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty pesos (Php 3, 960.00) in different
denomination. The crime scene was processed by the Cauayan City Police. The
suspect is now under the custody of this office for investigation and proper disposition.

3. Investigation conducted by this office disclosed that the motive of the incident
is robbery.
