19.O9.201,9at20.6oo/abelowthe scheduled rate. Total Cost of work amounting to Rs 75,03,869.68
(Rupees Seventy-Five Lakh Three Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-Nine and Paisa Sixty-Eight
only). The Details of Schedule of items and quantity are enclosed as Annexure "l', Instructions for
Consultant enclosed as Annexure "ll" and Terms and Condition are enclosed as Annexure"lll".
The LOA is being issued to you in duplicate. Please sign and stamp the duplicate copy on each
page after endorsing Accepted and return to this office as a token of acceptance.
Please note that:
1. Contact to ST.DGM fCivil)-E/Nagpur to start the work within 3 days from the date of issue of
Acceptance letter and complete the same in 45 days from the date of Acceptance letter.
2. No increase in the accepted rates shall be admissible during the validity of the contract-

INSTRUCTIOI{S TO CONSULTANT

Division of Central Railway.

1. No increase in the accepted rates will be admissible during the validity

of ttre contract.
2. The rates in the Bill of Quantities shall, except in so far as it is otherwise
provided under the contract, include all remuneration for staff,
transportation, surveys, equipment (vehicles, office equipment,
furniture), printing of documents, office and residential
accommodation, constructional plant, labour, supervision, materials,
erection, maintenance, insurance, profit, taxes and duties including all
general risks, liabilities and obligations set out or implied in the
Contract.
3. Accepted rates are inclusive of all taxes, GST, access liabilities and the
cost of insurances of the Consultant. No tax liability or insurance
expenses will be borne by RVNL. However, any concession/ exemption
in the taxes, duties and cess as applicable, shall be passed on to RVNL.
4. The rates are inclusive of all lead (except as otherwise specilically
provided in the description of a particular item), lifts, ascend, descend,
handling, re-handling crossing of naJlah/streams/tracks any other
obstructions.
5. The Consultant should submit his GST registration No., PAN and Bank
details etc.
6. The Consultant will have to submit the bill in GST format. The payment
will be made after satisfactory completion of the work.

TERMS & COITDITIOIYS

1. The work should be started within 3 days from the date of issue of
Acceptance letter and completed in 45 days {including submission of all
test reports) from the date of issue of the Acceptance letter.
2. Work shall be executed as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.
3. The quantities given in the Bili of Quantities {BOQ} are estimated and
provisional, and are given to provide a common basis for bidding. However,
the payment will be made as per the actual quantities of work ordered and
carried out, as measured by the Consultant and verified by the Employer
and valued at the rates accepted by the competent authority
4. The quantity given in the schedule is approximate and rnay vary LA a/a on
either side.
5. Amount payable by Employer to the consultant under the contract willbe
subject to 1ocal taxation. Income Tax will be deducted as Tax Deducted at
Source {TDS}.
6. A11 ancillary items for executing the services e.g. approach road to site,
launching arrangements, procuring right of way, arrangement of water
and electricity etc. is to be arranged by the Consultant, at his own cost
and included in the accepted rates.
7. There should be a minimum of 3 drilling rigs at the site during any
point of time for drilling of bore-holes.
8. The method of measurement of completed services for payment shall be in
accordance with urrits mentioned in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against each
itern.
9. The geotechnical investigation test will be got done from NABL accredited
Laboratory.
10. Payments of bills:
The payment will be made as per progress of the work
and actual measurements taken by the representatives of the consultant
& RVNL oflicials for the work completed satisfactorily and submission of
, the necessa{r test report wherever required. Bill has to be submitted by
the consultant in required GST format.
