IV. PROCEDURE:
A. Before the lesson
1. Elicit(5 mins)
The teacher will have a short recap of the previous lesson. A
power point presentation will be shown. He will summarize
the previous lesson and clarify concepts that students find it
difficult to understand. He will be showing four(4) pictures of
different diagrams and let the learners identify what kind of
diagrams based on the picture it represents. He will give
feedback after every question is presented.
The teacher will introduce the next lesson by giving first a pretest
to check the learner’s background knowledge on the new
lesson(Activity 1)
The teacher will introduce the new lesson and state the new
lesson’s objective as a guide for the learners
5. Elaborate(25 mins)
The teacher will discuss the definitions and functions of the
electronic components.
The teacher will give a 5 items short formative test. He will be
giving the definition of the component and let the learner
answer right away the said question. He will immediately
give the right answer after each question. He will
acknowledge the participation of the learners after the
formative assessment is finished
The teacher will summarized the lesson and reiterate the
importance of knowing the symbols and definitions of the
electronic component.
6. Evaluate(1 min)
The teacher will ask the learners to draw the symbols of all the
components being discussed.(Activity 4)
