Course Objectives & Competences to be Acquired

A building heritage simply refers to a building/s /Historical Architectural Products/ having

value that have been registered by national and international agencies as being of
national and international importance to the history of that nation and even the world.
And based on this idea, the two courses can be fused together in such a way that part
of it introduces students to the theories of heritage in general /at international scale/
and the broad range of historical sites of the world and Ethiopia. so that the course
provides students with an overview of different conventions and practices derived from
those theories. And part of it introduces students about local heritage sites in detail and
their valuation in terms of national and World Heritage
