• See page unit 6 “ The travelers is the journey “ in the student´s book and
then answer the following questions:

1. Name the places you see in the pictures

2. What activities can you do in those places?
3.Which places would you like to visit? Why?

ADJECTIVES ENDING IN -ED / -ING

1. Adjectives that end in ED generally describe emotions – they tell us how people
feel.
These adjectives describe a person´s temporary feeling
Examples.
-It rained most of the time when we were in England, which I was very disappointed
-He was surprised to see Helen after all those years
-I was absolutely amazed! The show had been awesome.

2. Adjectives that end in -ING generally describe a situation, a thing or a person´s

 characteristic. the thing that causes the emotion – a boring lesson makes you feel
bored.
Examples.
-Have you seen that film? It's really frightening.
-I could listen to her for hours. She's so interesting.
-I can't sleep! That noise is really annoying!
-Luke started an exciting new journey

CLASE 1. Do page 36, 37 in the student´s book
2. Write 5 sentences with adjectives ending in ing and 5 ending in ed
3. Talk about a vacation experience using adjectives ending in ed / ing and this
