1. Stick the flashcards of the lesson on the board .
2. Point to each flashcard and say the phrases aloud .
3. Encourage them to repeat after teacher .

4.Have students look at the presentation and pointing to all the people that they know and encourage them to answer

1. Review previous learning by showing the student the flashcards of transportation.
Lesson delivery
2. Point to Suzie in Activity 1 and ask students about Suzie .Encourage the students to answer Yes , she does .
3.Point to John in activity 1 and ask students the questions . Encourage the students to answer No , he doesn’t .
4.Point to Jenny and Billy in activity 1 and ask them some questions .Encourage the students to answer Yes, they do .
5.Direct students to the grammar box .
ACTIVITIES 6.Read the questions and answers aloud and have students repeat .
7.Ask students similar questions and encourage them to answer .
8.Students read the story again to match the questions to the correct answers .
9.Have students compare their answers in pairs , then check as a class .

1.Stick the flashcard on the board .
2.Point to each flashcards , say the word / phrase and get students to repeat few times after teacher .
3.Mime the corresponding action / occupation at the same time.
Lesson delivery
2. Have students look at the presentation and ask them what kind of texts they are and where they would find a page
like this one.
ACTIVITIES 3.Have students look at the pictures and ask them to guess what each person does.
4.To check comprehension , ask students questions . ( Teacher’s book page 36 )

6. Ask pupils some general questions about the occupations .
7. Direct students attention to the grammar box at the top of page 19 and readd it aloud .Have students repeat.
8.Ask students what they think What do you do? Means and when we use this questions. Elicit that we use it to ask

SUCCESS CRITERIA Pupils able to listen and read the story for pleasure independently or with guidance .
Pre-lesson
1.Hold up the book or stick blown up colour photocopies of the story on the board .
2.tell students they will listen to and read a story with the title What do you want to be ?
3.Discuss the title of the story and ask students what they want to be .
4,Ask students which occupations they recognise in the pictures .
5.Ask students to look at the pictures and guess what the story is going to be about .
6.Elicit answers but do not correct students at this stage.
Lesson delivery
7.Play the CD and point to each frame in the book or on the board.
8.Encourage students to point each frame in their books.

9.Check students prediction.
10.Play the CD again and ask students to point to each speech bubble and follow along .
11.Talk about what happens in each frame .
