INTROUCTION

A. BACKGROUND
In research many strategies that used by the researcher to collecting
the data and to do research and one of strategies for data collection in
researching is questionnaire.
As we know questionnaire is a research instrument consisting of a
series of questions, and a relative popular means of collecting data, it enables
the researcher to collect data in field setting and the data them selves are more
amenable to quantification than discursive data, such as free from field notes,
participant observes journals, the transcripts of oral language.
In the questionnaire there is a list contains of some questions and have
purposes to help the researcher in collecting the data.

B. PROBLEM OF STUDY
1. What is definition of questionnaire ?
2. What are the types of questionnaire item ?
3. How the processing and operationalizing of questionnaire ?
4. What are the advantages And disadvantages of questionnaire ?

C. PURPOSE OF STUDY
1. To understand and comprehend about definition of questionnaire.
2. To know and comprehend about the types of questionnaire item
3. Understanding the processing and operationalizing of questionnaire
4. Knowing the advantages and disadvantages of questionnaire

CONCLUSION

 CONCLUSION

Questionnaire is one of the most popular methods of conducting scholarly


research. It also has means will always be an instruction into the life of the
respondent is it in term of time taken to complete the questionnaire, the level of threat
or sensitivity of questions, or the possible invasion of privacy. It provides a
convenient way of gathering information from a target population by giving some
structured questions.

Questionnaire have two types, they are :

1. Opened Question
2. Closed Question
The processing of questionnaire consists of editing and coding, and the
operationalizing of questionnaire consists of three set of purposes, they are :
1. A questionnaire general purposes must be clarified and then translated
into a specific, concrete aim.
2. Planning involves the identification and itemizing of subsidiary topics that
related to its central purposes.
3. Follow the identification and itemizing subsidiary and involves
formulation specific information requirements relating to each of these
issue.

The advantages and disadvantages of questionnaire consists of :

1. Good for me measuring attitudes and eliciting other content from research
participant.
2. Can provide information about participants internal meanings and ways of
thinking.
3. Usually must be kept short.
4. No response to selective items.
