A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE PRESIDENT OF THE

LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY-BUTUAN CITY CHAPTER, HON. GEMMA
P. TABADA, TO ENDORSE TO THE HONORABLE SANGGUNIANG
PANLUNGSOD, BUTUAN CITY TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO THE
OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT, HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT
RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, THROUGH THE HONORABLE
SECRETARY, WENDEL E. AVISADO, OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT, THROUGH THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FUND (LGSF) - OTHER FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE TO THE LGUs, FOR ALLOCATION OF FUNDS AND
INCLUSION OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION THIS FY 2021, THE
ROAD CONCRETING AT NEW ROAD AMAMAYLAN (PUROK 2, 3, 4,
20, 21, 24, 25, 26; ROAD OPENING AND CONCRETING OF ALVIOLA
BAAN KM3 FMR AT PUROK 19 BAAN KM3 TO BRGY LEMON ROAD;
CONCRETING OF PUROK 3 – PUROK 20 AND PUROK 2 TO PUROK
13 BAAN KM3 F.MR AT PUROK 3 TO PUROK 20; ROAD
CONCRETTING WITH BRIDGE AT PUROK 3 TO PUROK 8 AT PUROK
3 TO PUROK 8; CONCRETTING OF ROAD AT PUROK 11 TO 12
CONNECTING TUMAMPI CADSTRAL ROAD AT PUROK 11 TO
PUROK 12; AND ROAD OPENING FROM PUROK 14 TO 25 AT PUROK
14 TO PUROK 25, ALL IN BARANGAY BAAN KM 3, BUTUAN CITY,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, presented before the Sangguniang Barangay are one of the

proposed projects of Barangay Baan Km3, Butuan City which require allocation of funds
for implementation of the above-mentioned projects;

WHEREAS, on January 8, 2021, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) issued
Local Budget Circular No. 131 with subject: “Guidelines on the Release and Utilization of the Local
Government Support Fund (LGSF) – Other Financial Assistance to Local Government Units in the
FY 2021 General Appropriations Act, Republic Act No. 11518;

WHEREAS, in line with the above-mentioned guidelines, the National Government has
appropriated a total amount of P13,585,219,000.00 as financial assistance to Local Government
Units (LGUs), pursuant to the Special Provision No. 3 of the LGSF, except those under
Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, to support the priority programs and
projects of the LGUs;

WHEREAS, the aforementioned proposed Infrastructure Projects are included in the

Barangay Development Plan of this Barangay and one of its priority projects;

WHEREAS, the implementation of these priority projects is essential to the development of

Barangay Baan Km 3;

WHEREAS, recognizing the significant impact on these projects towards the development
of this Barangay, the Honorable Sangguniang Barangay is certain that such projects would
engender economic prosperity and substantial development to the Barangay and the City
Government of Butuan;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. _____________ and duly seconded by all members
present, be it –

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to earnestly request the President of the Liga

ng mga Barangay – Butuan City Chapter, Hon. Gemma P. Tabada, to endorse to the Honorable
Sangguniang Panlungsod, Butuan City to strongly recommend to the Office of the President, His
Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, through the Honorable Secretary, Wendel E.
Avisado, of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), through the Local Government
Support Fund (LGSF) – Other Financial Assistance to the LGUs, for the allocation of funds and
inclusion of project implementation this FY 2021 the THE ROAD CONCRETING AT NEW ROAD
AMAMAYLAN (PUROK 2, 3, 4, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26; ROAD OPENING AND CONCRETING OF
ALVIOLA BAAN KM3 FMR AT PUROK 19 BAAN KM3 TO BRGY LEMON ROAD; CONCRETING
OF PUROK 3 – PUROK 20 AND PUROK 2 TO PUROK 13 BAAN KM3 F.MR AT PUROK 3 TO
PUROK 20; ROAD CONCRETTING WITH BRIDGE AT PUROK 3 TO PUROK 8 AT PUROK 3 TO
PUROK 8; CONCRETTING OF ROAD AT PUROK 11 TO 12 CONNECTING TUMAMPI
CADSTRAL ROAD AT PUROK 11 TO PUROK 12; AND ROAD OPENING FROM PUROK 14 TO
25 AT PUROK 14 TO PUROK 25, ALL IN BARANGAY BAAN KM 3, BUTUAN CITY.

RESOLVED FURTHER, let copy of resolution furnish to the Offices of the City Mayor, City
Administrator, City Planning and Development Office, the Office of the Liga ng mga Barangay –
Butuan City Chapter, the Sangguniang Panlungsod, and DILG, for their information and
appropriate action.
