I. Answer the following questions.


Q: How do we change the size of an object in MS Paint?
Ans: Size of an object can be increased or decreased horizontally or vertically by
Resize feature.

Q: Name tab and group in which Resize option is present.

Ans: Resize option is present in Image group under the Home tab.

Q: What is the default background colour of a text box?


Ans: Transparent

Q: How do we change the background colour of a text box?

Ans: Click Home  Tools group  Text tool  Opaque  Select colour

Q: How do we increase or decrease the view size of an object?

Ans: Zoom option.

Q: How can we set the drawn object as a Desktop background?

Ans: Click File  Set as desktop background option.

Q: How do we save a file?

Ans: Click File  Save option  Type the name  Save option.

Q: How do we open previously saved drawing?

Ans: Click File  Open  Select the file  Open


option.

II. Fill in the blanks.


1. The Select tool is used to select any square
or rectangular part of the picture.
2. Resize and Skew command allows you to resize the picture either in the
horizontal or vertical direction.
3. The Paste command will always insert the drawing at the Top Left corner
of the drawing area.
4. The Undo command is used to reverse the last action performed.
5. To save a file in Paint, use Ctrl+S key combination.
6. You can also cut and resize the image using Crop tool.
7. To add rulers in the drawing area, the shortcut key combination is Ctrl +R.
8. To erase a part of the drawing, Crop tool can be used.
