Students are exposed to training in a real work environment in government or private agencies
which is mandatory for every student for 6 months after completing 4 semesters of studying in KV
as contained in the ‘Kurikulum Standard Kolej Vokasional (KSKV)’.

12. Course Synopsis:

On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a prerequisite for the Malaysian Vocational Diploma students (DVM)
in all Vocational Colleges, ILKA, and ILKS. OJT will expose graduates to real work situations and
enhance students’ knowledge, technical skills and soft skills. OJT is introduced to strengthen the
existing competencies in addition to giving students the opportunity to gain work experience in the
real world in order to enhance student employability.
