TELL SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF

- Name. Age.
- Detail-oriented. I pay attention to details and make a conscious effort to understand the causes instead of
just effects.
- Planner. I look far ahead of the deadlines.
- I can work under pressure for it helps me grow. In my previous experience, I worked during deadlines, it
thought me how to prioritize and strategize on order for the task to be done on time.
- Analytical Skills. I have strong foundation of General Accounting, from preparation of invoices, to
analyzing the accounts concerned, to the preparation of the Financial Statements and lastly to the
interpretation by knowing how to understand the ratios, why and how it occurs to identify the problems and
seek for possible solutions.
- I have been also trained during my internship days in the preparation of tax returns, from encoding the
amounts, to filing manually or electronically, and to its payment. I also learned more of these during my almost
1 year review in taxation especially in addition of the TRAIN Law.
- Lastly. Although I have sufficient knowledge in manual system I also have in depth knowledge in the
technological aspect such as in Microsoft Applications particularly in Excel, and in the use of business
applications such as SAP.
- But on top of this, I always find a myself wonder how to continuously develop myself.

STRENGTH
- COMMITTED / DEDICATED / DETERMINED

- TECHNICAL SKILLS
- COLLABORATIVE

WEAKNESS
- When I’m working on a task, I find myself being impatient when the deadline is approaching. Rather, I prefer
to complete the project ahead of its due date. While this means I never miss a deadline, sometimes I can find
myself rushed when working. I’ve since learned to slow down.
- Another thing is that I’m independent. I enjoy working quickly. It has been difficult for me to ask for help
when I need. I have learned that it is much beneficial for me and the company to reach when I do not
understand something. I also understand that there are many experts around me that have the specific
knowledge and skills that can make mu work better.
- Lastly. It has been difficult for me to work with aggressive personality from the past. To combat this, I have
made it to the point wherein I spend more time with to those I feel comfortable working with. By learning about
them, I’ve been able to collaborate with these personality types so that we can both contribute our skills and
achieve the goal of a particular activity.

GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT
- Well, throughout my undergraduate years. I’m not part of the students who always got their grades above par
though I receive few awards like being able to part of the Dean’s List but only for 4 semester, I only consider
myself just an average student. But I learned from this people, i always find myself striving hard to cope up with
this people, consider this as a challenge, i then let myself always open for improvement and development.
Academically, these are only my accomplishment.
- But then I have realized my greatest accomplishment, about my confidence. During the past l months, I have
felt my self-confidence drop suddenly after receiving the news that I have not passed the board exam or
gradually after watching the failure of my daily efforts to attain the CPA title. But when I regain my composure, I
realized that it’s not the best solution to cry out things but rather I should move forward and try again.
- I then become an objective-looking person, I didn’t let my failure define myself in the future. I remove the
focus from what’s wrong but rather I always visualize success for it allows me to feel more confident and
inspire me to take positive actions and most importantly to believe on it.

WHY ACCOUNTING?
- Not my dream course, until we have this subject so-called Book keeping during High School and under the
influence of the Dean who gives us orientation about the course, I thought that Accounting is really fun,
challenging and rewarding especially if you passed the board exam. I’ve learned that accounting as a
profession is in-demand that’s because there’s an accountant in all places, be it from public and private firms,
government and academe. Since the industry involves a variety of tasks or because accountants involved in
several aspects of a company’s operations, chances that I won’t get bored working in this profession. And
there’s an opportunity to explore, meet interesting people and there’s always a room to grow.

5 YEARS FROM NOW

- I like to work with a company having a career growth and work opportunities to enhance my core skills for
assisting in the growth of the company. Such opportunities are a common occurrence in your company, so I
can now foresee that I shall be possibly working with the type of your company is providing. If given the
opportunity, I would like to study and take additional certification that is related to my focused field so I would
be at my best job level in the future.

STRONGEST ACCOUNTING SUBJECT

I used to like AFAR most during my undergraduate years.
But during my review, I’ve learned to appreciate MAS and TAXATION.
