Dallas Theological Seminary Faculty Appointment

We have been seeking the Lord this past

offered a Faculty position at Dallas Theological Seminary, teaching courses in the
Bible Exposition department (pending approval from the Dallas Theological Seminary board).
Paul loves to study and teach the Word of God and provide Bible study resources through his
writings. In the years ahead, this new ministry opportunity at Dallas Theological Seminary will
allow him to use his gifts and abilities to help equip thousands of graduate-level students for the
WordofLife.edu work of the ministry (Dallas Theological Seminary is the largest non-denominational seminary
that holds to the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture).

DTS Faculty Appointment Continued

Serving on the faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary will also allow Paul the opportunity to continue to
teach on the mission field. In fact, DTS is encouraging it! Paul has the flexibility to be away from his
classroom for one week each semester to teach elsewhere and during Spring Break, Reading Week, Winter
Break, and most of the summer months. So, he will be able to teach as much overseas as he has done while
with the WOL Global Bible Institute. The limiting factor will be what we think is healthy for our young
family. Paul would love to continue to teach for the Word of Life Global Bible Institute as an adjunct
professor (one-week modulars).

National Theological College and Graduate School

We are also very excited about another institute of higher education that is doing an incredible work training
nationals in four very strategic locations (Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Kenya). Paul has been invited to be an
adjunct professor for NTCGS. It is a biblically sound program, training leaders in the Middle East (as well as
Kenya). These middle-eastern countries are locations where most American missionaries cannot go
long-term, but we can go to teach in a modular format to train Christian leaders of these countries. Graduates
of NTCGS receive a fully-accredited bachelors or masters degree (respectively). If you would like to learn

What About Your Personal Support?

Paul will remain on missionary support with Word of Life until the middle of October. We will then
transition to Texas at that time. Paul’s faculty position at Dallas Theological Seminary will be a paid position,
so we will not need to raise support for his salary, insurance, etc. However, we will need to continue to raise
some support, to help cover Paul’s airfare and travel expenses to teach modular courses on the mission field.
We would love for you to consider continuing to give to help meet these costs. Please continue to give
through Word of Life through October 15th and then if you want to continue supporting us, we will send you
more information about FIM (Fellowship International Mission), where you can send your financial gifts
after October 15th.

• The search for a new Academic Dean for the Word of Life Global Bible Institute.
• Finishing strong with the WOL Global BI.
• Sale of our house here in Upstate, NY.
• The 1,600+ mile move to Dallas, TX.
• The finding of affordable housing in the Dallas area.
• The finding of a new church family.
