Q3 Week 1 Define, compare, and contrast concepts of partnership and local groups
Q3 Week 2 Show an understanding of the importance of community profiling and needs and resources assessment.
Q3 Week 4 Explain the principles of participatory action planning and resources mobilization.
Q4 Week 1 Formulate a community organization action plan that can be applied and adopted by students and schools working
with communities towards the development and empowerment of a community.
Q4 Week 2 Explain the processes, methodologies, and approaches in applied social science related to community action.

QUARTER 1 WEEK 1
When did you last go outside? Do you share the same ideology with your neighbors?
Do you live in the city or do you live in far flung areas?
Before the start of discussion, write in your notebook what is the most unique thing in your barangay that isn’t
present from other.
Are all community the same? This week we will discuss What a community really is and the different factors
that makes up a community.

Quarter 1 Week 2
On your Subject notebook draw a sketch or symbol or object about a community without a leader. After you
draw, explain it to the class.
Do you think leader of each organization are important? What makes a certain individual become a leader and
what type of structure does the leader of your community belong.

The purpose of community action is for people to work in solidarity in order to address a social problem, but
before we can address such we must study the 5 major social problems in our country, and how the youth are a
vital role in community action.
Before starting the discussion you must make a simple poem that tackles on how a youth is important in the
future of our country. (wrote it on your subject notebook)
