I. PHILOSOPHY:
To restore in man the lost image of His Maker through a harmonious development of the mental, physical, social and
spiritual faculties.

II. AIM AND MISSION:


Northeast Luzon Adventist College is a Christ-centered training institution that provides a well-balanced Christian
education to ensure its graduates succeed in life. The school aims to pursue higher education programs anchored on
desirable core values and unwavering faith in God.

Passion for quality and excellence. Recognized professional leadership in the education industry.

IV. COURSE DESCRIPTION:


Community engagement, solidarity, and citizenship are hallmark concepts for nation-building. Deals with the basic
understanding of community by delving into its definition and its typologies, discussion on how dynamics in a community

change and social changes. Shows how important youths are in building the nation. Learn how principles safeguard a
community, and lastly discuss all about social justice and human rights. Thus this unit will allow you to better understand all
the facets of community engagement, solidarity, and citizenship.

V. Subject General Information


 Passing of module will be at the end of the month, students that are living far from the school can get their module via
LBC. While students that are living in neighboring municipality (Cauayan City, Santiago City, Echague and San Mateo
Isa.) can get/submit their module directly from the school.
 Students are required to buy their own Big Notebook, all assigned activities, quiz, and essay are designated in this
notebook.
 Attendance is a must, I will be checking attendance thoroughly every Zoom meeting.
 During Zoom hours, strictly follow protocols: No using of phones, No swearing, and observe silence. If you break this
protocols, points will be deducted from your final grade.

present from other.

The purpose of community action is for people to work in solidarity in order to address a social problem, but
before we can address such we must study the 5 major social problems in our country, and how the youth are a
vital role in community action.
Before starting the discussion you must make a simple poem that tackles on how a youth is important in the
