NARRATIVE REPORT

Upon awarding us the “SIDC One-Stop-Shop w/ Koop Hardware and Rentable

Spaces” that was located at Brgy. San Agustin, Ibaan, Batangas under the Sorosoro
Ibaba Development Cooperative, we sought to deliver a competent work performance
by finishing the project as per scheduled. And in the long run, just like any project we
met unforeseen factors that impacts to the delay of our few construction activities.

The breakdown of the enlisted problems is as follows:

1. SITE CLEARING

Starting the construction, we mitigate the process and approach to be used for
the site clearing. Amidst the operation our team didn’t anticipate the large land profile of
the site that needed to be cleared. Schedule-wise, the item of earthworks such as
clearing, excavation and layout / stacking lasted for two weeks. With this expense we
decide to have additional heavy equipment (Backhoe) on the second week of the
operation. With this action the additional equipment sufficed the delay.

2. WEATHER CONDITIONS

Considering Philippines as a tropical country it is expected to have a weather

season change. Changes that highly impacted such industries and one of them are the
construction industry. Given the fact that we were working on this project and in the
collaborative team effort we wanted to deliver the project as dated of its completion.

The successive rainfall that was experienced at the construction site was shown below:

2021
MAY JUNE JULY
5 1 1
18 2 2
21 7 3
22 8 5
23 9 6
  24 12

This showed that the amount of rainfall was a disadvantage in our operation
during that time and given the fact that continuation of the manpower deployment will
result to inevitable waste of materials and substandard end result. It is unfortunate that
the latter come up to the decision to delay the operation. With that being said, the whole
team is humbly asking for a schedule extension of the Construction of One-Storey
Commercial Building Project.

As stated on this report we regret to admit that we need an additional 20-day

extension for our continuous operation. Given this request we adhere to do our best of
efforts to fully turn over the project as per plan and meet your expectations with such
satisfaction. But above all, we are grateful to be part of this amazing project and I am
hoping for your kind consideration.

Thank you.

Respectfully yours,
