I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. Define Deviance, Conformity and Social Control.
2. Explain the importance of norms, values and status in a society.
3. Explain how an individual become a good member of a society.

3. differentiate conformity, deviance, and self-control;

the community? (The teacher should expect different answers from the learners).
f) Lesson Proper: The teacher discusses the following topic with the integration of
student’s idea, knowledge and perception.

culture, how we fit into the animal kingdom and how we came to be what we are.

All agents of socialization play a very important role in the individuals’ life with most of
us having been taught to become responsible members of the society. To show this, do
the following activity on a separate sheet of paper.

Directions:
1. Make a journal on how the agents of socialization play an important role
in the life of individual.
