Budget: 1,900,000$
I. Establish project aims, objectives and timeframes based on the chosen
theme

1. Introduction

 In today's life, artificial intelligence is applied in many different fields such as education,
science, life, etc. Moreover, the application of AI in the medical field is particularly
important. Recognizing that in many countries around the world, there is often a shortage
of dermatologists, the list of dermatological specialist appointments is often filled, in
which many patients do not need admission to the hospital intensive care, in addition to
many patients waiting for long appointments. The net result is that patients with urgent
skin conditions face delays in diagnosis and treatment and are at risk for poor health
outcomes. Therefore, DermaScan has invented an application to help diagnose and guide
patients with dermatological diseases. This is one of the best solutions for everyone and it
helps reduce financial costs, waiting time and travel time for patients.

2. Project AIMS

Life is growing day by day with increasing environmental pollution, but it seems that
people often do not care about their health, especially dermatology. Therefore,
DermaScan decided to create an Application system to identify skin diseases with a
combination of cloud technology to store all skin-related health knowledge. Instead of
worrying because whenever you can't make an appointment to see a doctor or go to the
hospital for treatment, the DermaScan app will apply some of the wounds you suffer and
the symptoms you have provided. It helps you make an accurate diagnosis and offers
some solutions that you can prevent in a timely manner, in addition to helping you give
some food warnings to avoid. Moreover, it also helps you reduce exam time and save a
lot of time. In addition, the system also provides a number of routes and measures to help
patients improve.

3. Project Objective
 The goal of this project is to improve people's health including some of the following
typical goals:
 It helps minimize the time doctors need to see a doctor and make a diagnosis.
 Application in the identification of dermatological diseases.
 Reduce research time.
 Quality assurance of the process.
 Reduce patient anxiety.
II. Produce a project management plan that covers aspects of cost, scope,
time, quality, communication, risk and resources.

1. Project Scope

- The scope of the DermaScan project is created specifically, clearly and completely. It
includes clear steps to make the project as successful as possible: planning, executing,
designing, testing, finding and solving bugs and then improving. Not only that, the
application developed an AI system that can receive data about the symptoms of damaged
skin areas through images.
- Investors and stakeholders must ensure that they are always in line with the development
of the project. The project will be completed when the software and the processes related
to the project are successful.
- Application for customer companies seeking solutions to enhance the diagnosis and
safety of patients.
- In addition, all work as well as personnel and investors are carried out within the ministry
because we believe in the capabilities of project members.
- Based on unbiased customer reviews. The scope of the project can be changed to find the
most effective solution for customers.

2. Project Milestone List

 The table below is a summary list of the DermaScan project milestones. Not only that, all
the project plans as well as the operational status of the steps should also be mentioned to
gain an insight into the project and milestones. Any project changes that will bring the
best product to the user will be approved by the project manager.

3. Project Cost

 A project to succeed not only through the research and production processes, but also the
cost management plan is an important part of the project's success. Therefore, the project
manager is responsible for clearly defining how the cost for a project will be managed
throughout the project. Working within the cost management guidelines is imperative for
all project team members to ensure successful completion of the project. Not only that,
The Project Manager will present and review the project’s cost performance during the
monthly project status meeting. The following is a summary of the costs for the
DermaScan project.

4. Project Risk

 In the project management process, the occurrence of risks is unavoidable. The cause of
that risk is as organizations begin new projects they begin operating in an area of
uncertainty that comes along with developing new and unique products or services. By
doing so, these organizations take chances which results in risk playing a significant part
in any project. The purpose of a risk management plan is to establish a framework in
which the project team will identify risks and develop strategies to minimize or avoid
them.

6. Communication

 For a successful project execution, effective communication to all stakeholders is essential.

Communication is best defined as the exchange of information and the expression of ideas,
thoughts and feelings by using words and other methods. In the project management
context this means the exchange of knowledge, skills and experience. Here are a few
communication in the DermaScan project:

 Internal information exchange: The departments and members of the DermaScan

project at the weekend must present the progress of the project to the Leader or
investors related to the project.

 Information management: At the end of the month, a joint evaluation meeting of the
project will be held, relevant project information is communicated to all project
stakeholders, changes to the project are communicated and Important plans for the next
step will be organized.

 Project marketing: The project manager will present and display the project to staff,
customers, and sponsors. Besides, there are measures to overcome bad situations to
improve and overcome them in the later stages.
III. Produce a work breakdown structure and a Gantt Chart to provide
timeframes and stages for completion

1. Work Breakdown Structure

 WBS is a method to carry out a complex project, consisting of many steps. It's a way to
divide and conquer large projects so you can get things done faster and more efficiently.
Doing so will help all team members gain a deep understanding of the project, thus
improving their ability to communicate, efficiency and responsibility. Work breakdown
structure (or WBS) is a hierarchical tree structure that outlines your project and breaks it
down into smaller, more manageable portions.

 Benefit when using Work Breakdown Structure:

 A work breakdown structure not only identifies and organizes project work, but it also
has a number of benefits. Project budgets can be allocated to the highest levels of a
work breakdown structure. By allocating time and cost estimates for specific parts of
the work division structure, project schedules and budgets can be rapidly developed.
 Project work breakdown structures can also be used to identify potential risks in a given
project.
 When a project is falling behind, referring the work breakdown structure will quickly
identify the major deliverables impacted by a failing work package or late sub-
deliverable.

2. Gantt Chart

 Gantt charts are a type of chart commonly used for project management. No is one of the
most common and useful ways to present activities (tasks or events) that are presented
based on time. To the left of the chart is a list of activities and along the top is the
appropriate time. Each activity is indicated by a long bar, reflecting the start date, time
and end date of activities in the project.

IV. Carry out small-scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative

research methods appropriate for meeting project aims and objectives.

After conducting artificial intelligence into the AP system, it will identify willow-related
diseases. After reaching consumers, we decided to conduct a survey. The surveyors we
target are normally DermaScan employees and customers. The main purpose of this survey
is that we want to know how customers feel when using DermaScan's services in order to
find ways to overcome problems and improve DermaScan's artificial intelligence in the
future to bring peace of mind and best service for passengers as well as patients.

1. Qualitative Research

Qualitative research is defined as a method of market research by focusing on collecting

quantitative data through finished communication, statistical implementation. In
DermaScan's AI project for medical activities, we conducted a qualitative research with
the purpose of gathering users' opinions and needs while they were participating in the
service. From there, it is based on customer reviews to develop the system better in the
future. This is considered as one of the most popular qualitative research to explore and
explain to customers how and how to operate in a specific context. We ask a person that is
carried out with one respondent at a time:

 User: Based on dermatological diseases, we often realize that patients are quite
worried about their dermatological condition about the time it takes to schedule a
checkup, diet, and prevention. Therefore, we have made some questions. When a
patient has dermatosis, how long does it usually take to make an appointment with the
doctor for treatment? For example, when a patient is suffering from dermatology but
in a mild state rather than worrying too much, the patient may use Dermamscan's
system to capture the affected area and present immediate symptoms. The system will
immediately inform them of their illnesses and provide some preventive and dietary
solutions. Therefore, they will save a lot of time and can give the appointment to the
doctor for other patients with dermatology but at a high level.

 Company: Through the use process. We want to get feedback from users how they
feel after using the system. Therefore, we have raised a number of survey questions
with the aim of improving the system better in the future to help serve patients better
health and reduce anxiety.

In the process of performing the collection of user information over time using the
application of DermaScan. We chose the one-on-one interview method. We often ask
DermaScan-related questions for users and non-users. This is considered one of the most
popular qualitative research.

 Some questions for user:

 Do you find the DermaScan app to help your health?
 Is the AI application suitable for treatment?
 What features do you feel need improving?
 Do you encounter any difficulties when using it?

 Some questions for parked users:

 Have you ever used or learned about DermaScan application?
 What features would you like us to add to suit you?
 Do you think DermaScan will help you sing dermatological diseases?

2. Quantitative Research

Quantitative research is defined as a systematic investigation of phenomena by gathering

quantifiable data and performing statistical, mathematical, or computational techniques.
Quantitative research collects information from existing and potential customers using
sampling methods and sending out online surveys, online polls, questionnaires, etc., the
results of which can be depicted in the form of numerical. In DermaScan's project, we
collect user information using google drive.
Through the above survey, we have received a lot of feedback from users. Almost
everyone is interested in the application of DermaScan about 95% (including seniors,
teens, middle-aged, ..). Not only that most people use the application to see that it greatly
improves their condition. In addition, through user reviews of 98%, they feel that
DermaScan application is easy to use and convenient. After all these reviews, we realized
that everyone is concerned about their dermatology so that we can improve the application
better.
