Narrative Report
Day 2
(February 23, 2021)

The journey continues. On the second day of the Mid-Year In Service training, we still
have a lot of things to learn.

The morning started with the MOL prepared by the Grade 2 and 3 teachers. A prayer
was offered and we started the day right with some energetic dance moves from a Zumba
inspired workout. There were some technical hiccups during the MOL but everything went well
in the end thanks to the energy and enthusiasm of the teacher participants.

The first topic that was covered in the morning session was the continuation of the
Results-Based Performance Management Orientation System Orientation. Before starting the
video, Mrs. Leony E. Tendero, facilitator of the morning session, gave a quick recap or review of
yesterday’s topic. She asked relevant questions to refresh the memory of the participants. All
are eager to answer and give their inputs. The video for the session is the Episode 2 which
tackles the Phase 2 of the RPMS which is Performance Monitoring and Coaching. In the
recorded webinar, the speakers tackled the MOVs that the teachers will prepare for their RPMS.
It has already been cleared as to how many COTs are needed and what months will it be
covering. Other MOVs for various objectives were also discussed. Through this, the teachers
are now ready to start preparing for their RPMS.

During the afternoon session, Mrs. Lorena M. Jayme facilitated the playback of the next
video of the RPMS Orientation. The video discussed the Phase 4 and 5 of the RPMS which are
the following: Performance Review and Evaluation and Performance Rewarding and
Development planning. Each phase was tackled thoroughly and some of the frequently asked
questions were also answered by the speakers in the webinar.

The day ended with the teachers preparing the school for the benchmarking of the
Pontevedra National High School the following day.
