Project Name: Amy’s Bridal Shower

Project Objective:
To host a bridal shower within three months celebrating Amy’s upcoming wedding within the
budget of $1,000. The party includes family and friends of the bride who are 21+ and will take
place at our sister’s home in Kentucky.

Project Justification:
We are easing the transition into married life by showering Amy with love and gifts to get her
started.

Requirements:
1. Date must be before wedding and work for all siblings including Kelly’s October vacation
and Niki’s trip to Kentucky.
2. Food and beverage selections must meet Amy’s request of soup bar, be enough to feed
all guests, and include a variety of beer.
3. Music must be a compilation of folk, country, and reggae.
4. Isaac must be available to pick up kegs on selected day.
5. Venue must have enough parking for all guests.
6. Decorations and photobooth must match the dusty pink and gold theme of the wedding
and must be complete by 12pm on October 23.
7. Jenny (photographer) must be available for pictures on selected date.
8. We must include at least 3 games during party.
9. There must be enough tables and chairs for all guests, plus a table for food and a table
for gifts.

Assumptions:
1. Siblings and Jenny will be available on specified dates, willing to help, and reliable.
2. Guests will follow no children rule and arrive on time.
3. Budget will be enough to cover the party.
4. Invitations will reach all guests.
5. Amy will have her wedding registry complete on time.
6. 1.5 days will be enough time to cook and handle decorations.
7. We will be able to find decorations that match the theme.
8. Weather on October 23 will be sunny.
9. Electric and WIFI for music will be available.

Constraints:
1. Amy’s health on specified date cannot be determined ahead of time.
2. COVID could worsen and prohibit gatherings prior to the party date.
3. Photographer or table/chair rental could cancel.
4. The weather may prohibit outdoor gatherings and the indoor facility may feel crammed
with all guests inside.
5. The truck used to transport materials for party could breakdown disabling decorations
and food to arrive on time.
6. Country Boy may not have kegs available.
7. Project Manager’s (Maid of Honor) flight to Kentucky may be delayed or cancelled.
