1. Onam holidays starts from today. School will reopen on 31/8/21, for classes LKG to
IX. Management& faculty would like to wish a HAPPY & PROSPEROUS ONAM
for all MARIAN families.
2. Corrected note books of all classes will be retuned back by 27/8/21 from 9 am to 12
pm. Internal marks were awarded based on these note book work& live class
attendance.
3. Management is thankful to all parents who dedicated their time for making the mega
orientation a great success. Students are expected to submit the report, in order to
reinforce their learning. Grades will be awarded for these reports.
4. Cultural competition winners were appreciated & awarded with trophies on 16/8/21.
ICSE/ISC toppers also were felicitated during the Independence Day celebration.
5. Students of all classes are requested to complete the activities of BRITISH
COUNCIL, during these holidays. BRITISH COUNCIL activities of class I&II are
cancelled, due to the pandemic conditions.
6. CISCE divided 2021-22 academic year into 2 semesters, for classes X&XII. I
semester will end by the semester examination in the month of NOVEMBER. II
semester will end by March/ April, with the corresponding examination.
7. Syllabus too is bifurcated into two. Chapters of I semester will not be carried to II
semester. Bifurcated syllabus of all subjects, will be given within 2 days.
8. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be the assessment pattern of I semester.
9. School has made plans for individual chapter revision, which will be starting soon.
Encourage your ward to revise the chapters well, as per the schedule, which will be
forwarded within a couple of days.
10. Kindly ensure that your ward is diligently attending all special classes, which will be
conducted from next week.(Onam holidays of Class X&XII students will be till
22/8/21)
11. Revision for semester exam & new concept learning will be continuing in the month
of September. School will be concentrating on model examinations, in the month of
October.
12. Projects (X, XII, IX&XI)/ records of science subjects (class X) submission date is
31/8/21. Students must ensure that they are submitting it promptly, without
postponement. These marks too will be considered for internal assessment.
13. Onam celebration was conducted on 18/8/21, for students, with much enthusiasm.
Students with their family members are expected to prepare a 1minute video, of your
ONAPPATTU performance& kindly send to the class teachers, by 22/8/21 (5pm).
MARIAN families are encouraged to be the part of MARIANS ONANILAVU
ONAPPATTU MATHSARAM, in traditional costume of Kerala.
14. School management is highly thankful to all parents who co-operated well, at all
times, especially when school has decided to conduct classes & examinations through
learning management system of NLP.
15. Parents are requested to clear the fee dues as the term is over. Bank counter will be
arranged in the school office on 27/8/21 too.
