Performance Task (Oral)- CER Guidelines

Claims-Evidence-Reasoning

● Submit at least three claims under your assigned topic.

● Once the topic is approved, create a presentation showing the CERs.
● Presentation will be done in the first 5 to 7 minutes of the class. It is also presented before the start of the chapter of your assigned
topics.

The presentation

● Should consist of a maximum of six slides including the references in APA format.
● Should consist mostly of photos/illustrations/diagrams related to the claim.
● Should be submitted at least two days before the day of presentation.
● Should be submitted via email two school days before the day of presentation. Use the following subject format in your email:
GradeStrandSection_CER_DateOfPresentation (eg. 11STEMA_CER_August30).

If synchronous classes are suspended on the day of your presentation, you will present once it resumes. (Take note: groups that
are originally scheduled on the day of resumption should ALWAYS BE PREPARED).
