AI and Data Analytics Program

Statement of Purpose

Ever since my childhood, technology and computers have always fascinated me. Now with
each passing year, my interest has grown manifolds. I am particularly interested in
studying data science since I realized that it can be used to develop marketing models and
that companies these days are starting to analyze big datasets to measure consumers’
product preferences and make use of it to determine their future sales.

I have been employed at two different firms that specialized in performing data analytics
task to help research for companies aiming to start new projects. My project made
extensive use of python and C++ and I have learned a lot about these programming
languages during my studies and job. I had to analyze real-time data of cellular network
consumers and oil production capacity per day. I wish to use my knowledge and skills in
data science to provide well-sustained research and analysis for companies. In my Final
year project I was Team leader of Adruino Based Project which gathered real time data of
atmospheric conditions for energy production.

My country Pakistan is also lagging behind in the field of entrepreneurship as compared to

other nations of the world. By applying to the MS at Bradford University, I am also aiming
to learn the science of entrepreneurship to achieve my long term goals that are to start my
own company relevant to AI sector and be boss of my own company. Similarly; my short
term goals are to the serve industrial side of the nation. I also have plans to give input in
academia sector so that youth of my country realize its importance. Also, MS in AI and Data
Analytics will enable me to deal with people issues and the art of networking, not technical
ones. 

When I ponder upon my goals I see no place other Bradford University that would provide
the special skills to cope with modern world. In Bradford University not only you get the
academia but also other skills which is mandatory for those who aspire to become
Entrepreneurs. Bradford University provide enabling environment to students where they
can bring forth their ideas and creativities, which provides students a freedom of
expression and the art of being fearless which are important ingredients of leadership.
I am aware that the Master at Bradford University is one of the best in the world and
expects very high standards from its students. My track record gives me the confidence that
I will be able to meet those expectations. I believe that my association with the department
of AI and Data Analytics be a mutually profitable one.
