What did you KNOW
I knew that every child must
have the basic knowledge of
our history especially our
Philippine Heroes who gave
up their lives fighting for our
country.
I knew that Rizal played an
important role to the
Independence that we are
enjoying today.
I knew that the Rizal Law
was signed on the day of my
birthday, June 12 because it
also is the day of our
Independence.
I am also knowledgeable of
some of the reasons why it is
important to study Jose Rizal,
his Life, and Works for it will
give us the better
understanding of why are we
Filipinos, why do we stand
for our country. How was our
system, the politics and the
education produced us and
the future generations.

What did you WANT to
learn
I wanted to learn more about
the Rizal Law and what made
them produced that Law.
I also wanted to learn more
about Rizal’s childhood. how
did his parents raised him and
motivated him to pursue what
he wanted and his story of
success.
What did you LEARNED
I have learned about the
different laws that are
associated with Rizal and the
Philippine History.
I have always wondered why
Rizal’s work are being
focused on in high school,
now I know that it is stated in
RA 1425 to include his Life,
Writing and works as a
course in the curriculum.
I have also learned that Rizal
is a worldwide model but it
was not surprising since he
made himself known in
different parts of the world.
I have learned that not only
can the laws pay tribute to
Rizal and our heroes but it is
also a beacon of faith and
inspiration for us students and
to the young people who are
thriving to be the best version
of themselves.
