MASTER ME
At the end of this Activity Sheet, you will learn the following:
1. Describing and illustrating different angles (right, acute, and obtuse)
using models.
2. Describing the attributes / properties of triangles and quadrilaterals using
concrete objects or models.
Smart Ideas
An acute angle measures less than 90°. It is smaller than right angle.
An obtuse angle measures more than 90° but less than 180°.
What is a polygon?
A polygon is a closed plane figure made up several line segments that
are joined together. The line segments are called sides and do not cross each other.
There are exactly two sides that meet at a point called vertex.
Triangles
A triangle is a polygon with three sides and three angles. It is a closed-plane
figure that is made by joining three line segments.
Quadrilaterals
A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides and four angles. It is a closed plane
figure that is made by joining four line segments.
