General Objective:
Acquisition and application of knowledge, skills and attitudes through the utilization of nursing
process in the care of mother and child at risk or with problems (acute and chronic) with emphasis on
health promotion, prevention and maintenance of health.
Specific Objectives:
At the end of the 3 days of the 1 st week of virtual related learning experience (asynchronous &
synchronous), I shall be able to:
1. Establish rapport with our clinical instructor and to my co-nursing students virtually.
5. Enable the assigned clinical instructor to understand the significance of our individual differences and
to take appropriate steps for our optimum development.
At the end of the 3 days of the 2 nd week of virtual related learning experience (asynchronous &
synchronous), I shall be able to:
2. Know how to record, it’s purpose and responsibility for the confidentiality of the patient records.
5. Develop the proper care during the postpartum and to execute well in doing fundal massage.
At the end of the 3 days of the 3 rd week of virtual related learning experience (asynchronous &
synchronous), I shall be able to:
1. Establish rapport with the patient by explaining the procedure to decrease patient’s anxiety and
provide privacy to enhance patient’s self-esteem, and to gain his/her cooperation.
3. Effectively clean the perineal area before changing the perineal pad.
5. Enhance our visual imagination in dealing pregnant patient as if in the real Hospital and what are the
teaching plan given to the patient.
