Subject: Traffic sign and road marking shop drawing

Dear Sirs,

This refers to our letter Ref: CRBC/MS/547/10 dated March 23, 2010
regarding the subject issue.

It is well known that the major activities for section of the project road
between 3+840 and 8+760 has been completed except for minor incidental
works like street lighting, traffic signs and road marking both for the main
lane and bus lane.

We recall that along with the above mentioned letter we have submitted the
traffic sign and road marking shop drawing which we prepare using the
available data on the original drawings.

However, one and half month has already been elapsed since our
submission but no approval or comment has been issued except the only
comment you mention “not as per AACRA specification”.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the AACRA
specification contains many technical issues regarding road marking or
road sings. Your comment has to be specifically target the short coming or
discrepancies our shop drawing might have. As your comment are
generalized, we were not able to clearly understand what requirements are
needed to be fulfilled in order to get approval.

As far as we are concerned, we understand the only problem in our shop

drawing is the directional road workings which even are not available in
AACRA standard. From the point of view of commencing and timely
finishing the subject works, we have adopted an American standard

directional road marking (which is similar to the one you have approved to
Coca project) and submitted a shop drawing of the same for your kind
review and approval.

Please note that your timely approval or specific/detailed comments on our

submission is highly appreciate as it will assist on the progress of our work
and timely implementation of our schedule as well as successful completion
of the project.
