2. Description:

2.1. Rationale / Justification/ Purpose

Children are the world's most valuable resource and its most promising future. They are

needed to be nurtured and help them discover their potential for themselves and for their

community. They are also needed to be nourished with proper food and vitamins for their

growth, health and good condition. Unfortunately, some places here in the Philippines are

experiencing struggles conducting a program for children because of many reasons such as lack

of funds, lack of equipment and lack of people to help.

With that, from the help of the officials and members of the barrio, together with the

cultural club and other sponsors, six barangays from the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija:

Brgy. Bantug, Brgy. Bagong Sikat, Brgy. Poblacion South, Brgy. Catalanacan, Brgy. Rang-ayan

and Barangay Linglingay, will be conducting an outreach program for six months. This is

dedicated to the children in order to manage and ensure their well-being most especially in

regards to their education, nutrition and skills that are needed to be developed. Through this

project, it will assist parents in protecting their children's physical and mental health while also

alleviating boredom through recreational activities that will also help the children in making

friends.
2.2. Duration

The program will last up to 6 months starting from July to December 2021.

2.3. Target Clienteles/ Participants

The project is led by some BSCE students from Central Luzon State University and the

cultural club. They are also with the assistance of some volunteer community members and

elders, as well as the Barangay Officials and all SK officials from each barangay.

2.5. Collaborating Agency

The said program will be supported by the Barangays, Cultural Club, as well as some

Sponsors from different people and organizations.

3. OBJECTIVES

 To help children learn instruments and learn new skills (e.g drawing, dancing, singing.

Acting)

 To raise children’s interest on cultural skills

 To help children have good and nutrious food

4. PROBABLE MILESTONES

a. This project will start at June 2021 and end in November on the same year. (Once a

month)

b. There will be a workshop for children which will help them unleash their skills and

talents.

c. Every child will participate until the last day of the event.

d. The participation of the children will contribute a lot in the success of the project.

e. The pupils will be able to showcase their talents through arts, acting, dancing, and

singing which will help them improve in the future.

5. PROBABLE COST AND FUNDING SOURCES

Budget Allocation: 6000

The expenses are the food that we will be giving the children such as the food plan for the

coming 6 months. This funding will be coming from sponsors and solicits, also with the help

of the cultural club fee. A club member wil be cooking the food and dividing them equally it

helps us save and stay on the budget.
