First, I would like to sincerely thank you for giving me the opportunity to join the full-Time MBA program

at EBS
Business school, Germany (International Track). EBS is definitely my first-choice both from a professional and
personal standpoint. I am writing this letter to express my interest in the EBS scholarship for the MBA degree
program. It is my hope to use this scholarship to aid in the pursuit of the MBA degree program.

I come from a family of teachers and education has been given prime importance and I have vindicated that by
scoring 92% in my senior secondary exams becoming the school topper. I have excelled in my academics both in
my higher secondary and undergraduate studies. The academics placed me amongst the top 10 in the University
for Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering course. Such consistent performance, both inside and outside the
classroom, earned me the ‘best outgoing student title’ at college. Along with my academic devotion, I am also
extremely passionate about event management and stage performances.

Subsequently, I joined Continental India in 2011 and started working in the vital Continuous Improvement (CI) and
Strategic planning department. I was fortunate to interact with different functions for various projects and
activities. I have worked on improvement projects with departments such as Supply chain management,
Production, Maintenance, Finance and Controlling, and Human resources. This cross functional work has helped
me to gain working insights into the management of operations of a multi-cultural, multi-national company by
analyzing the business processes, and enabled to add value to the productive improvement projects crucial to our
organizational workflow. This will help me to adapt easily to the class of EBS and contribute holistically to the
various case study sessions covering core curriculum topics such as managerial effectiveness, strategy, and
leadership.

As the holder of the prestigious lean six sigma Black belt, during these 3 years at Continental, I have worked on
lean implementation of business processes and thereby enhanced the business potential of the organization.
Consequently, I was selected as the assistant plant coach for Continental Business Systems for locations across
India as recognition of my potential. In this role, I have been involved in coaching and mentoring teams and
individuals on lean methodologies and usage of various analytical tools useful for today’s business scenarios. My
experience of applying lean paradigms in various projects to achieve the results within the timeframe will add
further unique perspectives to the diverse class at EBS. Further, I am confident that my consistent leadership
endeavors all through school, college, and professional career has instilled commensurate empathy and the ability
to take calculated risks, which I hope to leverage during team projects and classroom discussions at EBS. However,
I hail from a family with severe financial constraints. As the sole breadwinner, I have to support my retired parents
as well as my brother, who suffers from WHAT EXACTLY. In this regard, I plan to fund my studies through
educational loans and accrued savings. After contacting the banks for loan, I have been informed of the onerous
collateral requirements and therefore am in urgent need of scholarship support.

Therefore, I would like to sincerely request you for a 50% scholarship to enable me to my aspirations at EBS. Given
the diversity of my work experience, I hope I will be deemed merit-worthy for commensurate scholarship.
