I. PROJECT PROFILE

1. PROJECT TITLE:

LIBERTY LEADS
(Let’s Inspire, Bolster, and Engage Resiliency to The Young Ones and
Let Educators Adapt Dynamism and Synergism)

PROJECT BACKGROUND:
The ability to adapt to hardship is referred to resilience. Resilience has
become a key focus of interest for academics, policymakers, and practitioners
working in the field of mental health and well-being in recent years due to its
potential impact on health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

The discovery that, despite the well-known correlations between negative

life experiences and mental health disorders, most people do not develop these
disorders despite stressful situations sparked interest in the field of resilience
(Luthar et al., 2000; Richardson, 2002; Rutter, 1985).

More recently, research has focused on elucidating the mechanisms

through which these personal, family, social, and environmental influences lead to
beneficial outcomes (Luthar et al., 2000). Furthermore, the perception of resilience
as a static or universal attribute has moved to one that acknowledges that new
strengths and vulnerabilities emerge frequently as life circumstances change.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
a. Date of Implementation: June 1, 2021

b. Venue of Implementation: Zambales National High School

c. Participants: Teachers and Students of ZNHS

d. GOAL: (Based on DepEd Mission Statement)

Specific Goals:
The aim of this project is to identify and conduct an intervention designed
to contribute to the development of resilience among students, and adolescents
(teachers and staff).

In this project, I aimed to include any intervention which specifically

defined itself as a resilience intervention. In addition, in the absence of a generally
accepted definition of resilience and a way to measure this, I considered
resilience as synonymous with having good mental health. I therefore also
included interventions specifically designed to prevent mental health problems or
promote mental health.

TARGET RESULTS/OUTPUTS:
Zambales National High School teachers and students shall:

 Develop and sustain resiliency in dealing with the different

adversities and challenges.

ACTIVITIES:

Activities to be undertaken essential in the accomplishment of the

objectives above are:
1. Drafting of Proposal

Because of the worldwide issue on pandemic, this proposal has been

drafted to cater the needs of teachers and students in ZNHS.

2. Consultation
The need to consult first this proposal to our School Head and fellow
Head Teachers for their 100% support.

3. Implementation

Once approved, this concerted effort of everyone shall take effect the
soonest possible time.

4. Monitoring
It is the work of the School Head, Head Teachers, and Teacher-
Adviser to monitor, evaluate, and recommend the said program.

5. Sustainability
Constant monitoring of the said program will definitely sustain its
objectives.
