Festival of Saints Infographics

Rationale:

October is dedicated to the month of the Most Holy Rosary, in which the Catholic Church
honors with fervor and holiness. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our
Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7. It was instituted to honor the Blessed
Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of
the Rosary by the faithful. Moreover, Christians considered rosary as the perfect prayer to bring
peace in the world especially in this time of pandemic.

In line with this, the University of Perpetual Help System commemorates this holy
celebration by leading its students in remembering the essence of our Faith through praying the
rosaries and various activities that capture the solemnity of being a Christians. As we enter the
month of October, let us renew our devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary — reflecting on its origins
saving nations and individuals in times of conflict and despair.

Activity Brief:
The Festival of Saints Infographics is a celebratory activity in celebration of the October

2021 Month of the Holy Rosary. The image enhancement provide picture of the saint assigned

and the moving infographics should be presented in video form showcasing their assigned saints

in the day of culmination. Infographic is a visual image usually by graphic organizer or diagram

presenting information in a striking way, therefore students will showcase their creativity while

commemorating the assigned Saints.

Mechanics:

1. Each Section of the Grade School and Junior High School Department will have an

assigned saint to be featured in their Image Enhancement for Grade School and Moving

Infographics for Junior High School.

2. Each section will be preparing a maximum of 2 minutes video clip including the

following components: (for Moving Infographics)

• personal recreated photo (for Grade School) and/or video of student(s)

dressed according to their assigned saint

• must have a quotation by their assigned saints

• voice recording or video recording, of brief background about the assigned

saint, and the importance of the saints in our Christian Living

• may also include a background music,

3. Please include the name of your section and the assigned saint at the beginning of the

video clip.

4. IMPORTANT: No personal meet ups for the making of the said activity.

5. Picture output should be save as JPEG format and for Video output should be saved as

MPEG format in high resolution. If the file is too large, the class may opt to use an online

file compressor.

6. Output must be uploaded in the Class President’s school mail drive.

7. Get accessible and unrestricted shareable link, which will be submitted by

accomplishing a Google Form (to be Forwarded to the Class Adviser a day before the

cutoff date.

8. Cutoff Date of Submission of Entry is on October 27, 2021 at 6:00pm.

9. Entries will be evaluated on October 28, 2021.

9. Participating classes and students will receive additional points in their performance

task in FCLand Araling Panlipunan subjects.

10. Winners will be presented and announced during the event culmination on November

3, 2021.
