(1) Lightly lubricate the bore of the nine O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(4) Lightly lubricate the bore of the six O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(5) Apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the piston before assembly.

(6) Torque for the pin assembly ... 147 ± 15 N·m (110 ± 11 lb ft)

(7) Torque for the nut ... 98.0 ± 9.8 N·m (70 ± 7 lb ft)

(8) 173-1170 Spring

Length under test force ... 34.0 mm (1.34 inch)

Test force ... 27.0 ± 2.7 N (6.1 ± 0.6 lb)
