Provide a substantial answer on the following questions

15 POINTS EACH

1. Is physical fitness can be achieved only through exercise? Justify your answer. *

Yes. Because, Physical fitness is a general state of health and well-being and, more
specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical
fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise,
physical activity, and sufficient rest. Before the industrial revolution, fitness was defined as
the capacity to carry out the day’s activities without undue fatigue. However, with
automation and changes in lifestyles physical fitness is now considered a measure of the
body's ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be
healthy, to resist hypokinetic diseases, and to meet emergency situations.

2. What is the difference between health- fitness and skills-related fitness? Which is
more important? *

Health-related fitness includes aerobic capacity, body composition, muscular strength,

muscular endurance and flexibility. Each of these dimensions is related to overall health in
children and adults. For example, aerobic capacity is essential for decreasing risks of heart
disease, diabetes, and strokes. Strength and flexibility are important in reducing risks of
osteoporosis and improving functional capacity. While Skill-related fitness includes agility,
speed, coordination, balance, power, and reaction time. These dimensions are important for
performance in certain sports, but they do not influence a person's health status directly. It's
still important for children to develop physical skills in order to perform physical activity as
adults, but health-related fitness is a more important objective and is necessary for all people.

The most important is Physical activity because exercise can improve your health and reduce
the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular
disease. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits.
Most importantly, regular activity can improve your quality of life.
