1. Purpose

The purpose of this emergency evacuation drill is to ensure an effective


response to foreseeable, credible emergencies.

2. Scope

Site dependent – can include one or more departments/units within a plant


.
3. Objectives

 To evaluate existing site Emergency Response Plans


 To establish an Incident Command Post to manage the response
 To evaluate the ability to communicate the emergency within Emergency
Response Team
 To demonstrate the ability to maintain safety for staff, vendor,owner,patients
and visitors during the incident

4. Narrative the emergency drill scenario


a. The water flooding at water intake and operator will check the garbage
screen due to the garbage screen blocked wooden log, when checked the
garbage screen operator slip and fall into water intake pound. firstly person
found the operator drowning, after that he voice “help..help..help..”
b. Mr. Firman WTP Operator inform to WTP foreman about this incident and
WTP foreman inform to WTP Dept Head about this incident.
c. WTP dept head inform to HSE Dept head about the incident and HSE Dept
head inform to rescue team and paramedic for evacuated person from the
water.
d. HSE dept head inform to Division head about the incident location and Div.
Head continues inform to ICC (IPP Plant Head, CTO, deputy CEO and
CEO).
e. Rescue team takes action for help the victim using lifebuoy, pull out from
the water and keep at safe area for gives first aid treatment by paramedic.
f. The victim send to SLK clinic using ambulance for future assessment and
treatment by doctor.
g. HSE dept head inform to Div. Head related victim condition so Drill event
closed.

5. ERT organization
The emergency response team was developed and will be updated based on
requirement at IPP 3-Kalteng. Please refer with attachment 1

6. Communication flow chart

The communication flow chart system was developed and will be updated
based on requirement at IPP-Kalteng. Please refer with attachment 2

All notification during communication will begin with the words, “This is a drill,
this is a drill this is a drill.” Participants will be informed in advance of the drill, to
prevent any misunderstandings
