As far as could be inspected port and starboard external side / shell plating above the water line was found to be well
coated. main deck and accommodation was found in good condition, no significant damage was observed on the pipe
lines and other fittings on deck.
Note:
During our attendance we found that the external hull on starboard quarter area of the vessel is under welding and
working repair. As advice by Mater of tug pair , the working repair has got permit by port authority, but the working repair
has yet approved/report to Class. Further Master tug pair explained that the bent on starboard quarter caused by
collided with another vessel.
Except:
- UT Thickness Gauging Report was found not available on board
- Class Survey Report was found not available on board
- no internal inspection to void tank due to not free gas
- doubling repaired on starboard side has yet approved/reported to class
OB Petro Badak is oil barge designated with 21 COT (1-7 P/C/S) and carry CPO cargoes. The internal structure of cargo
oil tank found in good condition and acceptable for carrying oil cargo i.e CPO.
Pad eyes, towing bracket and towing lines found in satisfactory condition.
Note:
as advised by tug crew, the barge has just installed cargo heater on COT No. 7C only during docking, however the cargo
heater has yet operation or tested and particular or certification of cargo heater was found not available onboard
