DATA ANALYSIS AND STATISTICAL TREATMENT

Upon approval, the researchers personally distributed the questionnaire to the


participants at the scheduled date and time based on their availability in order to avoid
interruptions with their classes. The participants were given ample time to answer the
questionnaire. The completeness of the responses to the inquiries was then checked.
The data was tabulated and prepared for statistical analysis by the researchers. A
statistician analyzed the data.

The researchers analyzed the data gathered from the participants using a variety of
statistical tools. The following statistical tools were chosen to display the descriptive
data obtained, as well as to establish the relationship between the data obtained.
The mean and standard deviation was used in order to determine the number of
participants when grouped by gender, age, year level, and school. Another statistical
tool used was analysis of variance, which was used to see if there was a significant
difference when participants were grouped according to gender, age, year level, and
school.
