Time to Ponder
Essay about Pressure in Everyday Life
Every day as I go to school, I always have these hard feelings with me to go beyond my capabilities. Not just
mentally but almost every aspects a person have. We all know that school is a place of competition for students. And
is
that gives me pressure to also compete and become one of the bests. Every time our teacher conducts a quiz or exam, I
Th
always study a day before it starts. It may not sound persistent but this is where I’m comfortable. It’s not the quizzes we
always get busy into but we also have projects, competitions and reports to be done. So we are trying to balance and
create a better result for these requirements. When I come to school in the morning, I always see my classmates opening
their books, memorizing and exchanging questions and answers. It’s like they are my daily reminders to also do what
sh
they’re doing. Our teacher even gets mad at us because we are just doing all subject tasks and forget to clean our
assigned area. Overall, I’m still glad to be a student of that school and curriculum. And I just enjoy my life while I’m still
there and leave the competitions behind.

b. kPa - A kilopascal is equal to 1000 pascals (Pa). It is the standard unit for pressure.
d. psi - If we say that gas exerts a pressure of 20 psi, it means the pressure on the wall of the gas container is 20 pounds
or the force per square inch of the unit area.
