Activity: Synchronous Reading

This is a recorded reading activity to be done during the English Class.
Four sections were divided into 6 groups and one section divided into 4 groups.

The tasks are as follows:

1. Each group was instructed to choose a story they would read and evaluate. This is in relation to the
MELCS competency- Evaluating a written text using a set of criteria with focus on stories.
2. During the synchronous reading, members of each group will take turns in reading the summary of
the story they chose to evaluate included in their ppt/google slides

3. Two to three representatives will do the evaluation of the story with power point/google slides
presentation. The recording of the activity will be extended to the asynchronous session in English in
case not all groups will be able to present during the synchronous session.
4. Presentation of outputs will be on a draw lots basis
5. The Power Points/Google Slides of each group will be submitted by the group leaders in the Google
Classroom.

ASYNCHRONOUS
For online learners
1. Try answering What’s More Activity 1 and 2 pp. 6-7. (NOT to be submitted)
2. In the e-note, answer What I Can Do pp. 8-9
4. Answer the Post Test in the Assessment tab of e-learning platform
For modular learners
The activities will be done on paper.
Note: The usual schedule of accomplishing the outputs will still be observed.

5. Answer the Pre Test in Quizalize (use the given Quizalize Class Code)
