How would you promote dancing to the community as a form of physical activity
that improves fitness and health?
As we live on this planet, technology dominates the world where we can see a
person cannot live without a gadget. They were like being imprison on virtual
world. There social and physical life are also detained because of these
phenomena. As a concern citizen I highly encourage the community to take part
for a change of themselves. This activity is showing about fostering the
importance of dancing where it can really enhance our health. I will promote
dancing to the community in a form of “Zumba” that could really improve their
health and also to be not prone in sedentary deceases.

2. In what way dancing affects your total well-being?


A person doing nothing is like a hollow sack, if you try to lift the empty sack it will
fall. It is also just like a human if you are empty, you’re nothing. But, if you will fill
some sand on the sack, it will stand. The sand here is reflecting the dance. If a
person doing something just like dancing it could really help his/ her well-being.
Dancing is really nice in social, mental, emotional, and physical where it really
helps the person to live healthy.

3. What are the illnesses, injuries, and diseases that can prevented when you
engage yourself in dancing? Why?
According to what I read, the illnesses, injuries, and diseases that can prevented
when a person engage in dancing is heart deceases because when we dance
the circulation of blood is very nice. When we dance our heart is beating very fast
when that is a process of a good circulation of blood.

4. Why is dance considered a mark to one’s culture?


Dance is considered a mark to one’s culture because it signifying that a certain
group of people just like tribes or clans are really exist. If a dance originated on
that certain tribe, we can easily recognize and know their existence. We should
preserve and also still practice a certain dance in order to still remember the
people who create this dance. It is also a sign of being proud, loyalty, and
patriotism to the country and to tribe.

5. How will you promote patriotism and nationalism to the “millennial” through the
performance of the Philippine folk dances?
Since every person loves competition, so in that way I can promote patriotism
and nationalism to the “millennial” through the performance of the Philippine
Folkdance. In Folkdance competition, people will join and engage, and if the
competition will become popular, many people will join and integrate their selves
to learn the folkdance and join to the competition. Folkdance competition can
also influence the millennial to incorporate themselves to this platform. The
performance of the Folk dancers will be truly eye catching to the millennial where
they will inspire to learn the Folk dance.

6. Explain: “To dance is to live, and to live is to dance”.


Scientifically saying, dancing is a way of exercise where it gives a proper flow of
your blood. It gives satisfactory to the blood circulation. So, it means that if we
dance it really prolong our existence in this world. Dancing is a “longevity of life”.
The phrase “to dance is to live, and to live is to dance” is truly a masterpiece of
the importance and the significance of dancing where we can really receive a lot
of benefits on it.
