Q1 (a) Draw the idealized structure based on real structure in Figure Q1(a).

Q2 A steel truss is subjected to external forces as shown in Figure Q2. By using any
methods to your knowledge, determine

(i) the internal forces for each member due to external forces.

joint B.

(iii) the vertical displacement of joint B of the steel truss shown. The cross-
