purpose of this text is for you to reflect on
your own learning (to identify what is good,
what needs to improve, your progress, and
plans for betterment in the future).

KUS1101_Review_MR_JYD 5
Activity:
Before we meet online, write a reflection of your learning in this semester. Use the instruction
below as your guide. We will discuss more on your reflection in our meeting. Remember, we are not
learning new things/topics in week 15, but we will just review and reflect on what we have learned
from week 1-14 (to prepare you for the final as well). Submit your reflection on ecourse
“Week15_Reflective writing” before we start the Zoom meeting.

Name: Theo Hosea M

Class : 11MR1

Your reflection must cover the points below:

1. What have you learned/understood in this semester from the course?
2. How have you progressed before and after the course? Have you found any challenges
in learning?
3. How does this course help you in your major (or probably in other courses that you take
in the semester)?
4. What is your commitment to improve your skills in learning English and thinking
critically in the future?

Answer
1. I learned a lot about tenses, Describing Pie Charts, Critical reading, Paraphrasing, etc.
2. Now, I know more new vocabulary than before, because miss also keeps pushing us to
talk. I'm having a bit of a hard time paraphrasing a sentence, because I still have a bit
of vocabulary.
3. Maybe later there will be many journals in English, and we may be asked to take some
important sentences from websites, journals, books, etc. Therefore, paraphrasing may
be very important for us to avoid plagiarism. But paraphrasing is a lil bit hard for me.
4. My commitments are, to learn and increase vocabulary as much as possible, more
confident to speak in English, learn to paraphrase a sentence, also learn more tenses.
