I. INTRODUCTION
A blessed day everyone! Welcome to the world of PHYSICAL EDUCATION. Amidst the pandemic the word is facing
right now, you are still willing to learn new things. That is how a motivated pupil is!  Despite of the distance learning, I know
that you want to continue your studies. You are always guided by your parents and teachers. I would like you to keep in mind
that all your efforts and hard work will be paid off soon. To better start the lesson, I will leave this quotation from Thomas
Jefferson, “Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”

II. OBJECTIVES
To start this lesson, I want you to know the standards and remember the objectives that you must learn after this
lesson:
Content Standards: The learners demonstrates understanding participation and assessment of physical activity and physical
fitness.
Performance Standards: The learners participates and assesses performance in physical activities.
Learning Competencies:
 Identifies the different physical activities
 Assesses performance in physical fitness
At the end of this study guide, you will be able to answer the given essential question below:
 What are the different physical activities to do to become fit?

III. DISCUSSION AND SELF-CHECK


To start the lesson, get your book in MAPEH and open it on page 127. Look at the pictures! How do you spend your
day? What activities do you do? Do you do physical activities?

Great! Let us begin by discussing the Philippines physical activities. To become physically fit, you must perform a daily task or
activities without getting tired. You may refer to your book on pages 128-133.

Many young people today are engaged in virtual and technology aided games. They miss the real essence of the games as part
of physical activities. Target games are some physical activities that can make our body active and develop skills as well as
enjoyment.
To further understand and learn the different target games. Open your book on pages 134-141.

Get your book and answer page 132 Activity. (stop for a while)
