 Wake up, make up your bed. Eat breakfast and get ready for an awesome day!

 Have a short exercise, meditation and bonding with the family.

Preliminaries/Introduction (What I need to know)
 At the end of Lesson 1, the pupil will be able to assess regularly participation in physical
activities based on the Philippines physical activity pyramid.
Remember: The answers in all activities given in this module should be written in a
separate sheet of paper.
Pre assessment (What I know)
 Ask the learner to answer the activity on page 4.
 Guide the learner to read and understand as he/she reads the statements. Let him/her
choose the best answer in the five-item test.
Remember: Check the pupil if he understands the self-management skills.
PROCEDURES
1. Review/Motivations (What’s In)
In this part of the module, the pupil has to identify the pictures on page 5. Choose your
answer from the box.
 Tell the pupil to read and understand the text.
2. Initial Activity/Discovery (What’s New)
 Look at the picture on page 6. What can you say about it.
Remember: Check if the pupil understands the song/poem so he/she can
answer the questions that follow.
3. Discussion of the Topic (What is it)
 The topic will be discussed on this part so you have to give enough time to guide the
pupil.
 Let the pupil read the contents on pages 6-7, 9
Remember: Be sure that the pupil will read and understand the
conversations/discussions.

4. Enrichment Activities (What’s More)

 In this part you can measure the level of understanding of the pupil towards the lesson.
Help the pupil execute the skills on page 8. Answer also the activity on page 10
 Remember: Be sure that the pupil will answer the activity by following the given
directions.
5. Generalization (What I Have Learned)
 Let the pupil answer the activity on page 10. Answer the given questions.
Remember: Be sure that the pupil will read and understand the statement.
6. Application (What I Can Do)
 Ask the pupil to answer the activity on page 11.
 Remember: In this part, the pupil will answer the questions to measure his mastery of
the lesson. Guide the pupil in answering the questions.
7. Assessment (Post-Assessment)
 Answer the activity Mastering the Skills on page 11 to know if the pupil had mastered
the lesson.
Remember: Guide the pupil while answering the activity but it is very important that
he/she will answer in his/her own ability.

8. Additional Activity
 In this part the pupil will answer the additional task on page 12 that will measure the
knowledge he gained.
 Remember: At the end of the lesson, praise your child so that he/she will work harder
in the next lesson.

MODE OF DELIVERY
Have the parents hand-in the outputs to the teacher in school on scheduled date.
